My intention is for all who join this sacred community of love and non-judgement to feel safe and supported. I am a Chicana born and raised in Los Angeles with immigrant parents from Yucatan, Mexico and I have experienced both privilege and systemic oppression, so it has been very important for me to do my own deep anti-racism and decolonization work so that the cycle of systemic racism is not enabled in my business. Microaggressions and racially offensive language will not be tolerated in my programs and I am committed to keeping all participants, especially BIPOC, free of harmful language and behaviors. There is a lack of diversity and representation in my field of coaching and aromatherapy and I believe that anti-racism education is important in the health and self development industry so that all people who seek one-to-one guidance can feel safe and understood by their coaches and teachers.
I am not an anti-racism educator but if you are a coach, healer or someone who is interested in learning more about diversity, equity & inclusion REACH OUT to me by clicking here and I can direct you to the right people. Sometimes companies do more harm than good by hiring the wrong people to to teach DEI in the workplace.
I would like to give a shout out to these amazing educators doing important work in the world and I encourage you to support, hire and follow them. This list can go on and on but for the sake of no longer putting off sharing info, this is a start. It's time we center Black, Indigenous, People of Color teachers, healers & educators.More to come:
